Late July 2019 I'm sorry to say but I have stopped work on Seph #7 for a indeterminate time. I was at 52k words when I stopped, so it is close to completion. The writing halt happened because my mother fell ill and passed away in April. She was in many ways, but not all, the character of Nana to me. It has proved quite difficult to return to this story. Though I do feel like I am healing from my grief and hope to return to it later in the year when my emotions are less triggered, I cannot say when that will be. Thank you for your understanding. -Linda
An internationally published author, Linda won first place in the 2006 OSU/Mansfield Florence B. Allen writing competition and soon after earned a cum laude Associate of the Art’s Degree in English. She is a member of Broad Universe, a nonprofit international organization dedicated to celebrating and promoting the work of women writers of science fiction, fantasy and horror.
Linda began taking piano lessons at age 8. At 15 she got an electric guitar. At 17 she was playing lead in a hard rock cover band. Now, she composes dramatic orchestral music for her dark fantasy novels and produces those musical scores to digital formats and Compact Disc. LISTEN
Trained as a Graphic Artist, Linda worked in that field before publishing her novels. She enjoys drawing, painting, and digital rendering, as well as interior design and upcycling furniture. For her own home, she created stencils, painted tromp l'oeil, and, after adding raised stenciling on some walls, painted to enhance the designs.
